And Baby Makes Three

I'm Dreaming...

I wish it would snow. Doesn't look like it's going to. What a waste of a winter. Stupid global warming. Now winter will probably start in January and last until May, which is just crappy.

Tomorrow I'm taking Josiah and Caine with me to pick up Kendrick and Theresa. We get to go to McDonald's for lunch. Needless to say, they're excited. As for me, hey, at least I get a free lunch, even if it's 5 1/2-6 hours of driving, not to mention the numerous stops I'm sure we'll make to use the bathroom. I just hope they tell me they need to go in time to get to a bathroom.

I've been home for almost a week now, nothing goes on here that involves me really, except for babysitting and making dinner and trying to keep things clean. Doesn't always work out well. In fact, I have to clean the bathroom again. And scrub floors. Oh well, that's the way it goes. Hopefully my friends will be back from college soon so I'll have people to do stuff with. Even Eric isn't back yet, he doesn't get back til Friday, but he came over today so we could at least see each other. Otherwise it would have been 10 days, and for us, that's really long. Especially when we live so close, both at school and home.

I'm done wrapping all my gifts, just have to give them to people. Which is basically Eric, Erica, Alan, and my name person who is being kept secret. I've done a pretty good job of it. I know who most everybody who lives at home has, which means I'm pretty sure someone older than me has my name, either that or Theresa. Just someone who doesn't live at home. I'm not as excited for Christmas this year, and I think part of it is because this is my first year not sticking to tradition-Eric and I are doing part of Christmas Eve at his house, since they do their stuff that night too. It only takes about an hour and a half (so Eric claims) but that means I'll miss dinner at my house. So basically I get appetizes all night. Lucky me. Oh well, gotta get used to it, considering next year we'll be married and we'll have to figure out a good way of celebrating the holidays. I can't believe this is my last Christmas before I get married. Wow. Speaking of which, less than 8 months til the wedding! No major plans going on, except we did start our NFP class, which somehow is way more confusing to me than it should be. Parts of it make sense and it seems like it should be simple, but then all this stuff gets added in and it's just confusing and messes me up. We only had 1 class so far, so I hope by the time the other 3 classes are done we'll know what we're doing.

Nothing Else to Write About

I don't really have anything to write about but it's been awhile since I posted so here I go.

I move home on Wednesday, not sure how I feel about that. It will be nice to spend some quality time with the fam, but I'm there for a whole month before I come back to school. Plus I know I'm going to have to do some serious cleaning when I get home. Like the bathroom. Although I did bribe Jeph to clean my room so some of that might be taken care of. I would do it myself but everyone just throws stuff in there so I never know what to do with it and it's usually a complete disaster. I hope he likes gummi bears.

I've been done with Christmas shopping for awhile now and my roommate and I exchanged gifts last night. She gave me two new movies-Master and Commander and Forest Gump. Yay! For some reason I haven't been in the Christmas mood a ton this year. Maybe it's because there hasn't been any snow yet. In fact, today is supposed to be over 40 outside. How can it snow like that? It's so depressing. I love snow.

I only have one final this week, well, two counting the take home final that I have to hand in today, but only one actual final and it's in Classical Mythology. I can get a low B or probably even a C on the test and still get an A in the class. So I'm not too worried but I still want to do well and for some reason I feel like I don't really know anything on it. Plus there are 2 essays which is weird because the way we learned stuff doesn't really leave room for essays. She gave us 4 questions, 3 of which are going to be on the test and we get to choose one to write on, and the way they are worded makes me worried because she didn't really teach us what the questions are about, it's more like we have to infer stuff. And then there will be another essay that we don't know the questions for yet. The essays are worth 1/2 of the whole test grade so it's pretty nerve-racking and it seems unfair because there will be another 50-100 questions that we have to answer that combined are only worth 1/2 or less of the test grade. Oh well. I'm sure I'll still do fine.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
