Yesterday was my very fabulous 21st birthday. It was a blast to say the least. I went to Olive Garden with Eric for dinner after watching The Guardian, and I had my first legal drink (and I was carded). I had a strawberry daiquiri. I think I spelled that right. It was pretty good. Actually, all the drinks I had were good, except for the shot of tequila that Alan made me do at a bar. We only went to one bar, and for one quick drink because Eric and Erica couldn't go in since they're not 21, so it was just Alan, Megan and her boyfriend Brian (Megan is my roommate for those who don't know) and me of course. But at 9 we went to Green Mill with all who I just mentioned plus Gina and Josh, so it was really fun. They screwed up Gina's order which apparantly happens to her everywhere she goes lately. I had a raspberry cosmo martini which was better than I expected since I heard martinis aren't that great because they're strong and don't have much in them execpt alcohol, but it was good. And red which I wasn't really expecting but it makes sense. All the drinks I had were red, again, except for the tequila. The only other drink I had was a POM margarita. That was really good too, except I guess it wasn't like a normal margarita becuase it had ice and no salt. I was really expecting the salt too. Oh well. It was so much fun, I didn't drink too much so I didn't make a fool out of myself which was my goal. Just to have fun with people I like. I got some really great presents too. It was all very exciting and very fun. Plus then I got to sleep in again today, which was great. The rest of today wasn't that fun since I had to do homework most of the day. Stupid philosophy of film paper that I have to write. It's not due for a week but I have another philosophy paper coming up very very soon for another class that I need to come up with a topic for (something involving Bacon, Hobbes, or Descartes, or a combination of some of those, or whatever if you have any ideas. By you, I mostly mean Matt.), so I wanted to get a big head start on it. It's not that great so far but I only have about a page left to write if my estimates are on. Which I hope so. All the movies we're watching for that class are old, which is fantastic. I think tomorrow we're watching Bringing up Baby with Katherine Hepburn. So far we've also watched movies with Henry Fonda (young Henry Fonda-I've only seen him in Yours, Mine, and Ours I think) and Clark Gable. Very exciting. Oh, Bringing up Baby also has Cary Grant in it. Does it get any better than that?
And I kissed you in a style that Clark Gable would have admired (I thought it classic)
