I think that instant messaging is such a great idea, because it allows you to be in contact with so many people at once and to be able to get ahold of them immediately. Phones allow you to be in contact with people very quickly, but sometimes, especially when you call my house, get a busy signal. With im, you don't. The only problem is when people refuse to see that you have an away message up and talk to you anyway. Or they know that you are working on homework but they just have so many questions they ask you anyway. Or maybe this only happens to me-maybe I am just so popular that people always want to talk to me. That must be it.

Well, since I'm a trend-setter I guess I'll talk about the trends I have set in the past or something. As you all should know, today is Thanksgiving and we, like most people, had a huge dinner, complete with turkey and pie and all of that. However, unlike most people, I eat my turkey with vegetable dip. Most people find that quite odd and think it's gross, but those of my family members who have tried it rather enjoy it. That's my trend for the day if any of you have any leftover turkey that you don't know what to eat along with it.

Not just a follower

I know all of you probably think hey, Emily got a blog just like Matt, Kendrick, Maria, and Cindy! She is such a follower! Well, I am here to tell you, that yes, I did get the brilliant idea for a blog from my oh so wonderful family. But I'm not just a follower because my blog is going to be so much better than everybody elses'-I'm starting my own trend with my blog. I just haven't figured out what that is yet...
