Trevi

I forgot to add that on our first full day, after dinner, we also spent some time around the Trevi fountain taking pictures of it at night, and being bombarded by flower people, which is where the roses came from. We did end up buying one, but man, are those people after you. That was our first but not our last experience with them. They're everywhere in Rome. Everywhere. We loved the Trevi fountain though, and it was really close to our hotel which was cool. We went there during the day the next day too, after we had seen some other things and before we went to the castle, and threw in our coins, one for a wish and one to ensure that you'll return someday. It was touristy but fun.

Don't worry about it being touristy, because it's simply one of the best experiences in the world, and being a tourist is a prerequisite for having the experience.

And yeah, I should have warned you about the flower people. Sorry.
